Passenger Door Window Switch Not Working

Hi there this issue generally comes up often when we see a power window that does not work on the passenger switch but still works with the driver s master switch.

If all of the windows quit working at once meaning there is no response when you push the power window switch chances are there is a loss of power in the electrical system. I ve also done continuity testing of both the ddm and passenger side door module. It is acting as if it is locked out from the driver side door module because the led s are not illuminated however it is not locked out. Otherwise the passenger window will go up and down smooth just no auto up.

When passenger windows don t work but the driver s window does chances are high that you ve got a bad master switch in the driver s door or a broken wire in the driver s door hinge area. Auto up from passenger door does not work auto up from drivers side for the passenger side does not work to me implies it s not the passenger side switch. The drivers master switch may also be the cause. Normally a bad relay or blown fuse is the cause of this problem.

Power window motors only have two wires. My pasenger side window won t work from the passenger side door module. It means that the passenger side window switch has failed. Usually i replace the whole thing when this happens.

The fact that the drivers switch operates the window properly lets you know that the window components all function properly as that the problem is probably electrical. Any movement at all even a wiggle one of the things which needs to be determined is whether it is the electrical connection to the switch the window regulator motor gone bad or is it the complete window regulator having failed.
